How easily an AI engine can pull a self-contained answer from a page.
Extractability is an informal metric describing how well a page's content can be extracted into a self-contained answer. High extractability means an AI engine can find a passage that directly answers a user's question without needing to synthesize across the whole page.
Answer capsules, question-shaped headings, short paragraphs, and semantic HTML all improve extractability.
